Hanover, Md. – August 30, 2007 – Aerotek recently was listed as the 2006 top U.S. staffing agency for technical and engineering skill sets, according to a report by Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc., which examined past company revenue and Bureau of Labor Statistics data while also forecasting trends impacting the engineering and technology staffing industries.
Of the 20 top technical and engineering revenue-generating companies in 2006, Aerotek’s revenue was double the estimated assets each of Adecco and Volt Information Sciences, Inc, which were second and third, respectively. The technical engineering staffing segment has grown dramatically and today is a $6.5 billion segment making up about seven percent of total U.S. temporary staffing.

Staffing Industry Analysts lists civil engineers, industrial engineers, and architectural and civil drafters as the top three fastest growing skills sets.
