Aerotek® Inc., a leading staffing and recruiting firm, was recently recognized as the largest clinical and scientific staffing provider based on estimated 2011 revenue and market share, according to a report by Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc. (SIA). Aerotek generated approximately $391 million in clinical and scientific temporary staffing revenue — 22 percent of the total clinical and scientific staffing revenue, estimated by SIA to be $1.8 billion.
A total of 15 staffing companies, with estimated annual U.S. revenue of $25 million or more were included on the 2012 SIA annual list. According to SIA, these 15 companies make up more than 81 percent of the total U.S. clinical and scientific temporary staffing market, approximately $1.5 billion.
The SIA 2012 List Surveys are used to compile annual staffing firm rankings and identify fast-growing staffing firms. Aerotek also ranked as the largest staffing firm in engineering, the second largest in industrial, the second largest in office and clerical and the eighth largest in finance and accounting.
