Aerotek® Inc., a leading staffing and recruiting firm, was recently recognized as the largest provider of engineering staffing based on estimated 2011 revenue and market share, according to a report by Staffing Industry Analysts, Inc. (SIA). Aerotek generated approximately $1.1 billion in engineering temporary staffing revenue — 16 percent of the total engineering staffing revenue, estimated by SIA to be $7.2 billion. This will be the eighth year Aerotek was included within the top two rankings.
A total of 17 staffing companies, with estimated annual U.S. revenue of $50 million or more were included on the 2012 SIA annual list. According to SIA, these 17 companies make up more than 67 percent of the total U.S. engineering temporary staffing market — approximately $4.8 billion.
The SIA 2012 List Surveys are used to compile the annual staffing firm ranking lists, as well as identify the fastest-growing staffing firms. Aerotek also ranked as the largest staffing firm in clinical and scientific, the second largest in industrial, the second largest in office and clerical and the eighth largest in finance and accounting.
