Heavy Equipment Operators positions may include Operating Engineers and other construction equipment engineers. Candidates may operate one or more of the following types of construction equipment: motor graders; bulldozers; scrapers; compressors; pumps; derricks; shovels; tractors; or front-end loaders. This heavy equipment may be used to excavate, move and grade earth, erect structures and pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. Candidates may repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties.
