The customer is a pharmaceutical research, production and distribution company in the South. Established for almost 30 years, the customer has contributed to the development of over 600 products. The customer is an industry leader in generic pharmaceuticals, and their high business demand and commitment to quality require a skilled workforce of over 1,000 employees.
The customer needed to lower their attrition rate and focus on training and maintaining a quality workforce. They did not have success with full-time placements made by their previous staffing agency, and they needed to improve their internal hiring processes as well. The customer wanted to focus more on delivering results and less on their issues in staffing.

Aerotek identified the customer’s needs and created a customized plan to improve the screening, interviewing, and implementation process for contractors. Aerotek supplied an on-premise recruiter and on-premise Implementation Specialist who helped to improve the hiring and implementation process. As a result of the quality of Aerotek’s placements, the company has had an increase in contractors and improved retention. Our on-premise specialist used Aerotek’s extensive resources and experience to teach the customer processes that would improve new hire implementation and reduce time to fulfillment.
The customer saw an increase in quality among candidates which led to a lower interview to hire ratio. They were able to streamline the hiring and onboarding process so that they could maintain their production. Aerotek’s recruiters placed 76 contractors in less than three months.
