When Aerotek reached out to me back in 2002, I was a school teacher with a family, an engineering degree and I was a local ordained minister. I had no idea that an amazing 13-year (and counting) partnership was waiting for me.
Since then, my career has grown from being an entry-level engineer, to now an advanced engineer where I troubleshoot and resolve any design or process issues, as well as instruct and train other engineers. I didn’t think it was possible, but my role gives me the opportunity to use both my undergraduate engineering degree and my technology in education graduate degree.
Most recently, I received the STEM Women of Color Technology Rising Star Award. I’m so very grateful to be recognized for my hard work and efforts throughout the years. It is a true blessing.
While my recruiters have changed over the years, Aerotek has always been good to me. I am appreciative that my recruiters have always done everything possible to find me jobs that have suited me well and that have fit my skill sets. I love the benefit of being able to go to them if I ever have any questions or concerns.
