Aerotek® Inc., a leading provider of recruiting and staffing services, today announced the recipients of its 2nd Annual Scholarship Awards for students attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). The Aerotek Scholarship Program was established by Aerotek’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion to assist upper level undergraduate students who hold Aerotek’s core values of: Character, Integrity and Trust; Customer Focus; Valuing Diversity; Drive for Results; and the Development of Self and Others.
Aerotek offers this scholarship opportunity to one full-time rising junior or senior business major at each of the following six HBCUs: Bowie State University, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Morgan State University, Texas Southern University (TSU), North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, and Bennett College.
The six students selected to receive the $5,000 scholarship awards are:
• Bowie State University: Tylar Brock
• Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University: Ieesha Abdur-Rahman
• Morgan State University: Joan Odogwu
• Texas Southern University: Keaundra Harris
• North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University: Chinue Brown
• Bennett College for Women: Jordan Robinson

From January 15 – March 15, students could apply for the scholarship, which is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. The selection process is based on a candidate’s academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances and outside recommendation.
