Back home in the Bahamas, I had a friend who fixed TVs and VCRs, and it amazed me how he was able to take something that was broken and fix it — he had the knowledge it requires to do that. So that’s what I wanted to do — I wanted to fix TVs and VCRs… that was my grand plan.
It wasn’t until I came to the U.S. that I realized how wide the engineering field is. It was then that I decided to pursue electrical engineering, and that’s how I got started in this career. I love being a design and electrical engineer, and I love working at the nuclear station.
To me, life is about relationships. I’ve had recruiters that call me about other opportunities, but my relationship with Bryan Stefani is important to me. The fact that I can call him at the drop of a hat with any issue...it’s a true partnership.
