Job Summary

Hiring for a Utilization Review Nurse in the Minneapolis area, interview ASAP.

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for promoting appropriate, effective, and efficient use of health care resources via Pre and Post-service review, appeal, program, and network referrals
  • Scope of this position includes the review of clinical care and treatment plans by staff in IHM (Integrated Health Management) and CSC (Comprehensive Health Care) departments
  • Some of this will include taking unlisted codes that may be coming in and being able to associate them to pricing and known codes within the plans

Must have:
  • 5 years of clinical RN experience
  • Experience determining medical necessity and appropriateness of care
  • Currently licensed in state of MN
  • Nice to have: Prior Auth / UM experience
