Job Summary

Regional based engineering firm is seeking an experienced engineer to join their growing team in the triangle.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer to step into a hands on role internally & externally. He/She will be involved in all aspects of engineering, but hands on with clients & customers.

Individual will be responsible for working with other engineers in the development of the overall layout and original designs. Individual will work as a team lead in the office and support projects with the direction of the department manager. Team leader will offer guidance, but the intent is to help develop individual into a lead.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or able to receive within the next 1-2 years for the State of North Carolina or ability to obtain North Carolina license within 6 months
- Practical experience and knowledge of related discipline
- Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D with grading, drainage, and stormwater management, in private, public, or Federal land development projects is desired.
- Knowledge of and experience working with NCDEQ stormwater and erosion control regulations and requirements.
- Ability to handle working on multiple projects at the same time.
- Work well in a group/team setting.
- Experience in supporting business development, marketing, presentations, interviews, and Client management.
- Experience in development of project scopes, programming, and fee proposals.
