Job Summary

Production Operators ($16-$20/hr; Top out pay is $37/hr!)

** They will be responsible for a multitude of tasks including:
* Packing Bags of Starch
* Climbing stairs and emptying 50 lb bags of starch into mixers
* Sweeping and cleaning are of work on a regular basis.
* Opening valves on tanks
* Running controls on machines (very basic touch screen controls)

** Need to be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly any given day
** Must be ok with 12 hour rotating shifts, 4 on and then 3 off. (Dupont Swing Shift and 2 week swing available)
** Following Standard Operating Procedures and Safety are a MUST

Qualifications: These candidates need to self driven and hard working. They want people that don't just stand around but look for additional work to do. Candidates need to understand SOP's and basic manufacturing principles. Somebody that has machine operating backg
Performance Expectations: Typical day is getting set up to work, monitoring production, spot checks, etc. they are to be evaluated on quality produced with minimal hiccups.

Each team consists of 6-7 operators. The team supervisors do not rotate with the teams. The operators train each other with guidance from SOP's, work instructions, JSA's, FCD's, etc.
Some things we look at are safety, work ethic, clear communication, ability to get along with others, troubleshooting skills, and sound judgment.
