Aerotek is looking for entry level candidates looking to get into more of an office setting job as Medical Banking Specialist!

Job Description:

The Medical Banking Specialist is responsible for taking inbound calls and answering customer questions about products which include (HSA) Health Savings Accounts, (FSA) Flex Spending Account, (HRA) Health Reimbursement Arrangement, etc. These customers may be calling with questions about benefits, claims resolution, eligibility and billing questions, payment and reimbursement questions etc. They also will be receiving calls from potential customers who are interested in a product line and who are not current customers. They will become subject matter experts on all of the product lines so they can answer any and all questions that are asked of them. In most situations they will be required to research and respond to inquiries over the phone or in they will send a response via email so they must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

** Communication has to be very strong.


Work Environment:

HSA company for one of the largest healthcare companies in MN. Candidates will have a large open desk that is adjustable and allows them to stand or sit. There are around 50 people in the contact center and the dress is business casual
Quality of the customer service is absolutely number one thing that they are measured on their primary goals is 1 call resolution on every call.

Candidates will be working on dual screens, they have headsets and they and will have their own personal desk

There is a cafeteria and lunch room


6 months of retail, customer service, restaurant, inside sales or call center experience

Must be able to pass these test:
* Writing Sample Customer Service
* General 3 minute typing test, 10 Key, Alpha Numeric
(35 wpm with 95% accuracy and over 7000 KPH for alpha)

Must be able to train from 8:00am - 4:30pm for the first 4 weeks with NO DAYS OFF than must be able to transition to shift where they will work 8 hours per day between Mon - Fri and in-between 7am - 8pm

Must be willing to submit to a background check

Must be willing to submit to a Drug Test

Must have GED or HS Diploma Completed

Additional Compensation:

When and If they are hired on permanently at 6 months they will have the ability to get
1) Monthly performance incentives from $150 - $300
2)Every year there is an opportunity for a 2% to 4% Merritt increase
3)After the first 12 months they will have the opportunity to apply and get promoted into Tech Role or a Client Advocate Role which will make between $34,000 - $40,000 / year OR if they want to stay working as a Medical Banking Specialist they have an opportunity to become a Sr. Medical Banking Specialist and receive a increase on their salary
