A premiere light-industrial General Contractor, is currently in need of 5-7 Superintendents. Superintendents will be responsible for the full life-cycle of the construction phase from demolition through close outs.
- Manage subcontractors
- Create schedule (cradle-to-grave)
- Read blueprints
- Generate scopes of work
- Directly interface with owners
Work Environment: Outdoors in the field, exposed to elements. Company is very tight-knit and process oriented. Safety is extremely important and they take care of their employees. All executives have been with the company for 12+ years and they retain their talent.
Performance Expectations: First Day Job Responsibilities:
- Run daily safety meetings
- Attend weekly owner meetings
- Coordinate directly with inspectors
- Manage all phases of construction from demo through close out
- Generate scopes of work
- Create schedule for projects
Best vs. Average:
- 5+ years of manufacturing, education, or retail ground-up experience
- Power user in P6 or MS Project
- Experience in Timberline
- No ground-up experience
- Not professionally presentable
- No manufacturing, education, or commercial
- Poor work tenure (should have consistent 24-36 month positions)

- Profitability of project
- Meeting project milestones
- Adhering to schedule
