Laser Operator and Programmer:
Program, operate and maintain 5 Axis Laser Machinery and computer in
prototype setting. Set up and execute specific jobs as prioritized by the maintaining quality, delivery
dates and safety requirements at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
Review line up and address any concerns with Supervisor
Maintain machines and perform all PM activities on a timely basis
Keep lasers aligned
Clear alarms (machine & computer)
Basic machine and computer repairs
Set up jobs, changes, buy-offs and Programming
Build and weld fixtures
Punch tooling holes
Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing
Clean up at end of shift
Communicate with next shift to report any problems encountered. Update
supervisor. Update target time utilized.
