About Company

leading producer of printing inks, coatings and supplies, pigments, polymers, liquid compounds, solid compounds, and application materials.

Must Haves:
  • Strong GC IR experience
  • Experience working with multiple types of forensic materials (they have over 6,000 chemicals in play at their lab)
  • Specialty Chemical, Ink, Chemical Materials experience preferred
  • Pharmaceutical experience is acceptable if they can use the technique
  • Method development and method validation experience is a plus not preferred
  • Bachleor's or Master's in Material Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering background and understand how chemicals and ingredients react with each other.


Candidate's responsibilities include and are not limited to:
  • * Utilizing GC, IR, Chromatography machines
  • * Sampling and testing various ink and chemical materials (ex: materials with embedded chemicals or materials within them) and analyzing composition of sample
  • * Formulating samples to reflect requests of clients or internal departments, and then developing and validating method for testing
  • * Completing competitor or client print analysis on material samples (reverse engineering)
  • * Thermal analysis, GC IR, HPLC, LC, Microscopy
  • * Write reports on behavior of various materials and formulations, and report back to internal or external client
  • * Utilize internal chemical database to determine which materials to formulate with
