Contract to Hire
Aerotek is currently hiring a Field Technician/Driller Helper. Our client provides Environmental and Geotechnical Drilling services. Their clients include: private businesses, consulting firms, State, Federal and Municipal Governments. They perform soil borings, soil sampling, monitoring of well installations, rock coring, direct-push sampling etc.
Candidate will be assisting Geologist in the field and the office. The candidate will be reporting findings and collecting and sorting field samples for lab etc.
- 1-2 years of field work experience such as: working on construction sites, farms, landscaping, lawncare (outdoor work) is required
- General Mechanical Aptitude (using hand tools: screw drivers, wrenches etc.)
- Valid Drivers License
- Experience driving a truck (for example Ford F350 flat bed is a plus)
- Ability to physically lift 45 lbs
- 40 Hour Hazwoper is a plus
- CDL is a big plus
- 10 OSHA is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus
