Job Summary

All components are for Boeing 787 Air conditioning and cabin temp control systems.

Component/Product Details:
Large complex composite parts
  • Typically main cabin air headers used by Boeing and Airbus
  • Lay up in two separate mold halves
  • Assembled prior to bagging
  • Up to 8 ft. in length and up to 2 ft. in width and height
  • Prepreg layup
  • Epoxy and BMI materials
  • Autoclave cured
  • Complex female mold with deep radii (no bridging allowed)
  • Complex vacuum bagging process (no leakage allowed)
  • Small to medium moderately complex composite parts
  • Details used in the final assembly with main housings for Boeing and Airbus products
  • Roughly 12 - 24 inches in length and width (various shapes)
  • Prepreg layup
  • Epoxy and BMI materials
  • Autoclave cured
  • Mostly male molds (no bridging allowed)
  • Moderate vacuum bagging process

  • 5-7 years' composite experience in aerospace industry
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Manual layup experience
  • Clean-room experience
