Aerotek is currently hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician for a company in the Evansville, IN area. The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for visual and lab inspection of various food grade product in a fact paced, clean room manufacturing facility. There will be a significant amount of walking throughout the day along with continuous lifting up to 50lbs repetitively throughout the duration of the shift.
This candidate will assist in visual and rework areas as well as "cold rooms" or coolers. In these areas they will utilize work orders and printouts to visually inspect product throughout production process as well as reworked product where there may be defective product. This candidate will also cross train into the lab area, where they will be responsible for testing the foods with various instruments. Listed below are other duties involved with this position.
-Quality checks on raw and in processor materials
-Food quality checks
-a lot of walking and standing
-Good Computer Skills (Data Entry)
-Support quality manager
-Complete visual inspection on in process & rework product
1st and 2nd shift open
1st Shift: 6:00AM - 4:00PM
2nd Shift 4:00PM - 2:00AM
5-6 days per week, OT
Pay Rate: $12.23 per hour
