Job Summary

The Extractables and Leachables team at our client site is looking for an Associate Scientist to assist with routine testing for external client methods. The individual will be performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

- Bench testing using analytical instrumentation
- Basic wet chemistry bench testing
- Liquid-liquid extractions
- Using Empower software for analysis

On a day-to-day basis, the Associate Scientist will have access to a spreadsheet consisting of all pre-planned testing to be performed for several weeks out, and will work with their respective team to prioritize on a daily basis what needs to be taken care of.

The testing is being performed to analyze the potential leaching of materials from storage devices for drug products, including testing of surgical bags, IV bags, and containers for various drug substances. Stability GMP studies are being carried out as well.


Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or related science field

1 year of LC/MS or GCMS experience in a GMP/GLP lab
