Contract to Hire
Aerotek is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Claims Processor position in Jessup.
Claim Processors are responsible for processing claims in the claims processing system. Duties include determining if health claim is payable based on federal and/or state regulations, plan benefits, provider contracts, as well as policies and procedures. Responsible for adjudicating claims via claims processing systems, reviewing and determining provider and member eligibility, and reviewing/resolving claim/customer service inquiries on a daily basis.
Qualified candidates MUST HAVE:
- High school diploma or GED
- PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
- Organizational skills including attention to detail, working independently and time-management
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work scheduled hours. Overtime may be required including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Start date for this position is November 6th with a starting pay of $10.50/hr.
