Job Summary

The purpose of this Pharmacy Service Representative is to provide expertise and customer service to our valued members or providers relating to enrollment, refilling of prescription orders, discussing benefits, and any/all other questions in regards to their health plan.

Assist our specialty patients by providing inbound telephone support in a fast paced work environment. As part of our culture, we are seeking individuals who have an innovative spirit, a diverse work experience, ability to multi-task. This role is an important first-line of contact with our customers, setting the tone for how our company and services are experienced. Superb communication skills are needed to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients and internal partners to ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner and to ensure all financial and clinical expectations are being met prior to fulfillment.

Primary responsibilities: Interacting with members who may have serious chronic conditions, as well as physician practices, insurance carriers, health plans, and pharmacy operations team members - Answering inbound and outbound calls - Routing calls to appropriate department(s) - Entering accurate information into a multi-screen computer application. - Assisting pharmacy services staff members with answering phones, triaging calls, filing and other administrative support activities.
