Aerotek is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support crucial flight software. This system provides pilots with flight symbology on a display to improve safety and capability for the aircraft to land, takeoff and navigate in low visual conditions.
This is a contract opportunity initially slated for 6 months but may extend to two years!
- Background in DO-178B/C
- Experience with embedded real-time systems
- Ability to design, program and verification
- Proficiency in C
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting language
- Experience in DOORS desired
- Performing verification of software including structural coverage analysis
- Design of test procedures/results and trace-ability matrices
- Coding and debugging of software
- Specification of software requirements
