Job Summary



Seeking to hire 1 Tester or 2 Inspectors for a medical device manufacturing company located in Mira Mesa.

San Diego, CA 92121

Tester:

Perform functional testing of subassemblies, WIP products, and finished goods in support of production goals and engineering/R&D projects.
  • Perform calcheck of sensor products.
  • Operate laboratory equipment (ISOPstat lines, computers, etc.)
  • Complete and review associated documents.
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable regulations to FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.


Inspector:

Perform visual inspection of subassemblies, WIP products, and finished goods in support of production goals and engineering/R&D projects.
  • Inspects subassemblies, WIP products and finished goods.
  • Evaluates parts or assemblies against standards by reviewing blueprints, schematics, or drawings Determines acceptance or rejection of products. Use control charts when used.
  • Operate laboratory equipment (microscopes, computers, etc.)
  • Complete and review associated documents.
  • Compile yield and rejection data on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable regulations to FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications for these positions:
  • 2-3 years of experience working in Manufacturing (Testing, Inspecting, or Assembly)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Clean room experience PLUS
  • GMP experience PLUS
