Job Summary

The purpose of the department is:
To coordinate the overall development process with our suppliers and to negotiate the best possible cost and schedule to meet 100% on-time development for our items.
Conduct all cost and schedule reporting and manage supply base to meet the our quality, cost, development, and production delivery requirements.

The purpose and function of this position within the department is:
To communicate, negotiate and report cost and schedule within the development team, suppliers, and management.
Coordinate product development flow, analyze and negotiate cost with suppliers, maintain development schedules to ensure on time development, maintain Company's engineering standards, and develop adequate supply base.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business, quantitative analysis, or engineering. 2-4 years of general business experience. Knowledge of product development, automotive products, and project coordination helpful

Mechanical training is helpful, cost accounting is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to deal at various levels in any organization is required. Must be able to negotiate and direct efforts of others.
