Job Summary

Bombardier's Business Jet Maintenance facility in Tucson, AZ is currently looking for c to hire Structures Technicians to perform modifications and repairs on the Challenger, Global Express, and Learjets

Duties include; repair and/or replacement of aircraft structural components, repair of areas damaged by corrosion, performing service bulletin and repairs as required

Corporate aircraft experience is preferred, but will accept candidates with commercial aircraft and military experience.


3+ years of experience preferred.
FAA Airframe license desired but not required
Experience working on business aircraft is desired but not required
Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and manuals
Basic knowledge of aircraft systems
Basic knowledge of manuals necessary to perform job including, but not limited to, SR Maintenance Manual and Component Installation Manuas, System Manual, Maintenance Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and various technical information necessary to perform job
Basic knowledge of the differences between repair station, developmental and production engineering, and corresponding paperwork
Basic knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalog, and applicable FAA documents
Basic knowledge in fabrication of sheet metal and/or composite components and assemblies, aircraft parts and ground support equipment per engineering drawings, sketches, advance designs, specifications and/or verbal instructions
Skill to measure using a variety of basic and physical measuring devices
Skill to use basic hand tools necessary to perform job
Skill to operate ground support equipment is necessary to perform job
Skill to fabricate and/or assemble various detail parts and components
Skill to measure using a variety of basic and precision measuring devices relating to job function
Skill to fabricate and install structural modifications on aircraft
Skill to apply sealing compounds
Skill to operate basic sheet metal support equipment including, for example, brake and shear
Skill to repair composite structures per structural and repair manuals as required by site
