Sometimes in life we don’t know what our next move will be. I was one of those people. I received a phone call from Aerotek to come in for an interview and discuss my employment and future career goals. I was apprehensive at first because I was so comfortable as a bartender, and this position would be entirely new to me.

My recruiter, Nick, walked me through the process by having me study the company, prepare for interviews and learn about the structure of my new environment. I got the job, but I gained so much more than that.

This new job has impacted my whole lifestyle, and their culture has given me a desire to perform my duties to the best of my abilities. I have become more professional, gained more confidence in myself and have earned more success…all just because my recruiter gave me a chance. I would never be where I am at today without his help.

My career is just starting. Because of Aerotek and my family, I’ve gone back to college and am currently a double major. Aerotek has shown me to remain positive, the benefits of a good work ethic and to always conduct myself positively and professionally — your biggest career move or promotion could be sitting right next to you.
