I started working when I was 18. I needed a job during my freshman year during college break. My mother works through Aerotek so she talked to her recruiter, Mike Flitcroft, about helping me find a job. And it worked. I had no reason to say no to a job that was full time and in the same building as my mom. I returned two years later looking for work and since then it has led me to where I am today.
Currently, I am a Supplier Quality Engineer for an automotive electronics company. I have been in this position for a year now. I review parts from our supplier good and bad to ensure the quality for our production team as well as approve parts to kick off new products.
I've grown personally and professionally over the years working with Aerotek. I understand the workforce and the work ethic needed to succeed. I’ve learned that you get what you put out. When something is in front of you, you should go a bit further.
Mike helped to find the best job for me. We've built a friendly relationship. We speak about anything from football to work and enjoy a bite to eat occasionally. Working with Aerotek was what I needed to get ahead in life.
