Diversity Awareness & Community Outreach
Valuing Diversity is a core value of Aerotek, an important corporate social responsibility which impacts how we service our customers, how we recruit candidates and how we become better corporate citizens. As a leading staffing provider, Aerotek has made a commitment to develop a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities in which we reside.
Aerotek’s diversity objectives are paving the way for a new generation of employees that have a better sense of awareness, tolerance and a greater understanding of the world around us by focusing on:
Community - Aerotek's Community Outreach Program was developed to build a strong partnership with several key organizations and provide local involvement and national sponsorship for our community partners. Aerotek's Volunteer Organizations include: Special Olympics and Boys & Girls Clubs in addition to various other community-based organizations. Our local employees carry pride in Aerotek’s corporate social responsibility and have embraced these organizations to help them to continue their charitable efforts.
Awareness & Diversity of Thought – Aerotek established formal training in 2004 for ALL internal employees to gain a better understanding of diversity and raise awareness among our peers and our customers. The program focuses on diversity of thought, thought leadership, self awareness and inclusion. Every internal employee at Aerotek - from leadership to new employees - participates in either a Diversity Champions or 8-hour class taught by an outside consulting firm, Franklin Covey – Guardian Quest.
Partnership - Aerotek's minority suppliers program if our Most Valued Partner (MVP) Program is a collaboration between Aerotek and a Preferred Partner Network, a consortium of minority businesses each providing a unique product or service. Through these relationships, Aerotek can satisfy your minority spend goals through a seamless service model.
