Aerotek® Inc., a leading provider of recruiting and staffing services and the staffing partner of Volkswagen Group of America, Chattanooga Operations, today announced that it is seeking to immediately fill full-time contract production positions in Volkswagen’s Chattanooga manufacturing facility. Candidates must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Interested applicants can apply online at www.aerotektn.com

The hiring surge follows Volkswagen’s March 22 announcement that they are creating an additional 800 jobs to increase production capacity to meet the market demand for the Volkswagen Passat. The Volkswagen Chattanooga plant currently employs more than 2,700 people, including 500 Aerotek contractors – many of which will transition or be hired full-time by Volkswagen. Full-time contract employees hired through Aerotek receive benefits, including contributory medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more.

“We are excited about our continued partnership with Volkswagen to provide skilled professionals to support the Chattanooga plant’s growth in demand for the Passat,” said Lucas Hiler, national account executive. “The staffing requirement is an encouraging sign for the automotive manufacturing industry and will positively affect the local economy.”

Candidates looking for a job can log onto www.aerotektn.com or call the company’s toll-free line at 1-888-AEROTEK.
