Aerotek Recognized as a Top Supporter of HBCUs
Aerotek® Inc., a leading provider of recruiting and staffing services, was named as one of the 2012 Top Supporters of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) according to U.S. Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine’s tenth annual survey.
The survey polled deans of 14 ABET-accredited HBCU engineering programs and the corporate-academic alliance, Advancing Minorities Interest in Engineering. Each of the HBCU engineering programs is asked to list the ten corporate and the ten government/non-profit organizations that provide the most support to their schools, considering the following factors: support for infrastructure modernization and enhancement, research and mentorship projects, participation on advisory councils, faculty development opportunities, scholarships, student projects, stipends, co-ops and career opportunities.
The Top Supporters of HBCUs will be recognized at the 2013 Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) Conference in February 2013.
