Client Profile

Our client is a leading global transportation manufacturer specializing in the airline and rail industries. In addition to being one of the largest civil aircraft manufacturers in the world, our client prides themselves on providing jobs to the surrounding areas and lending support to communities in need.

The Challenge

The customer needed to increase their available inventory of aviation parts. After purchasing a large volume of new inventory, they needed personnel to support the intake and processing of the new items. The customer had used staffing vendors in the past but had never benefited from the expertise of dedicated aviation-specific recruiters equipped with knowledge of the industry. They needed support with processing and stocking their shelves with new inventory in a timely manner to ensure business continued to operate smoothly. All candidates were required to be compliant with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines.

Aerotek's Solution

To address the challenges our customer was facing, Aerotek's dedicated account team developed a solution that combined Aerotek's expansive recruiting bandwidth with its deep expertise in the aviation industry.

By leveraging proactive recruiting strategies and Aerotek's expansive talent network, in addition to aviation-specific online job boards and strategic networking, we were able to source top talent in the field. Aerotek sourced 10 essential airframe and power plant mechanics (A&P mechanics) as well as 40+ inventory analysts in a short timeframe to support our client’s increased inventory demand.

Aerotek ensured all employees underwent all mandatory pre-employment screenings, including background and drug testing as well as all FAA-mandated compliance measures to ensure qualification for employment prior to starting with our client.

Results

Through its partnership with Aerotek, our client was able to meet their increased workload demands, increase their ready-to-distribute inventory by 11 percent and remain in compliance with the FAA. As a leader in its industry, the customer demanded speed and agility along with quality in its recruitment of talent to get the job done. According to a letter from the customer, “The candidates Aerotek provided were well-vetted and professional.”
