Edgar Romo, Inventory Associate/Aerotek Recruiter

I had been working a warehouse position through a competing staffing company and had a horrible experience. I had been sent to three different assignments within two weeks. There were mornings where I would be halfway to work and would receive a call to turn around and go back home.

From the moment I walked into the Aerotek office for my first interview, I knew that I was in good hands. I was blown away by the level of professionalism of the office. My recruiter did a great job of asking me about my skill sets, long term goals and answering all of my questions regarding what it was like to work as a contractor through Aerotek. As an Inventory Control Specialist, I worked at a distribution center for thermal printers and supplies. I was able to participate in the roll out of a new inventory system and special offsite projects.

I have worked at three assignments for Aerotek. All of them were great experiences, and I was able to build my skill sets up and gain experience in multiple industries. The experience that I had as a contractor — the amount of respect, attention and dedication that I received — ultimately led me to become interested in working for Aerotek as a recruiter. Now as an internal employee with Aerotek, I strive to offer the same experience I had to every contractor that I come into contact with.
