I was being discharged from a company that I spent five years with. I had to start from scratch all over again. I was sitting in my truck filling out an application, thinking about jobs and where to look for one. A light bulb went off in my head — Aerotek!

My recruiter, Julie, went way more than above and beyond to help me find my career job. She actually listened to what I had to say and took notes on what I was looking for in a new job. In her own words she said, “Don’t lie and just tell me the truth on how you feel and what you’re looking for.”

My job is to run a machine to produce the enzyme or powders needed for daily orders and doing this in a safe environment and anything that pertains to production or logistics, inventory, maintenance and sanitation. I’ve been hired on as a full-time employee with the company and I plan on staying here as long as humanly possible. This job has impacted me by learning and keeping an open mind, to think ahead, to be a team player and get along with my coworkers to produce a great product for our customers.
