Aerotek Services addressed the client’s IRA compliance challenges by facilitating open communication and tailoring their approach to the customer’s specific staffing needs. They partnered with a leading Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship provider to create a workforce solution that included managing recruitment, qualification and enrollment for apprentices and journey workers in the pipefitter and ironworker trades.
The project’s rural location and lack of cellular coverage presented additional logistical challenges. To overcome unreliable cell and internet service, Aerotek Services implemented the UKG system in a hybrid configuration — utilizing both hardline internet and mobile setups. This technology ensured accurate timekeeping and logistics management, allowing for precise tracking of work hours necessary for IRA compliance.
Additionally, Aerotek Services helped the customer achieve compliance by providing real-time updates on apprenticeship hours, delivering certified payroll reporting for accuracy and timeliness and maintaining transparent documentation. A project coordinator was assigned to oversee code management and IRA compliance, supporting the technology solution and guaranteeing proper reporting. Aerotek Services’ national recruiting network enabled rapid deployment of skilled tradespeople to meet project timelines and regulatory requirements, ultimately supporting the customer’s ability to secure clean energy tax incentives.
